The Tenby — Chocolate Mini Leather Crossbody Bag

The Tenby is a mini crescent crossbody: a small half-moon body with a zip that runs along the curve, on a slim detachable strap.

A deep chocolate hide that wears like black but looks softer next to denim, camel and navy. The colour runs right through, so edges and scratches stay dark.

It is 7.75″ (20 cm) wide, 5″ (13 cm) tall and 2″ (5 cm) deep, with a strap that adjusts up to a 23.5″ (60 cm) drop. Phone, cards, keys and a lip balm, and it sits flat at the hip.

Inside there is one open slip pocket sized for cards. It comes with a detachable 0.75″ (2 cm) adjustable crossbody strap, up to a 23.5″ (60 cm) drop.

The leather

The hide is full-grain, which means the top surface is left on, grain, small scars and all, instead of being sanded and printed. It is the strongest layer of the skin and the only one that ages well.

How it is made

Every bag is cut, stitched and finished by hand in our own workshop. Strap anchors are stitched and riveted, not glued, and the edges are burnished in several passes so there is no paint to flake.

Care

Wipe it with a dry cloth, keep it out of long direct sun, and give it a neutral leather conditioner a couple of times a year.
