We want this site to work for everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation or magnification. This page says what we do, and what we know is not right yet.

The standard we build to

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means every function works from a keyboard alone, colour contrast on text meets the AA ratio, images carry meaningful alternative text, form fields have real labels, headings run in order, and focus is always visible.

What we have done

• A skip link to main content as the first focusable element.
• Navigation that opens and closes from the keyboard, with focus held inside the mobile menu while it is open and returned when it closes.
• Alternative text on product and category images.
• Text that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320px.
• No information conveyed by colour alone.

Known issues

Some third party components, particularly payment fields and any embedded reviews, are outside our direct control and may not fully meet AA. We test them and raise problems with the suppliers.

Telling us about a barrier

If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, please tell us through the contact page with the page address and what happened. We treat these as bugs, not feedback, and we will reply with what we are doing about it. If you cannot complete an order because of a barrier, we will take it by email instead.
