The Hebden — Chocolate Brown Men’s Leather Satchel

The Hebden in chocolate brown is the satchel we reach for when a bag has to carry a working day and still look settled on a desk at the end of it. It is cut from full grain cowhide in a deep, cocoa-dark brown, with a front flap held by two solid brass buckles and a rolled top handle that sits on brass rings.

Inside there is a padded sleeve for a laptop up to 14 inches, two slip pockets for a phone and charger, and room behind them for a notebook and a lunch. A small front pocket with its own flap keeps keys and a card holder within reach, so the main flap stays shut on the train.

Why chocolate brown full grain leather ages so well

Full grain keeps the outer layer of the hide, so the surface you see is the real skin, not a sanded and painted copy. On a chocolate brown satchel that means the colour has depth: a little lighter where the leather bends, a little darker where your hand rests.
