The Hebden — Tan Men’s Leather Satchel

How a tan men’s satchel develops its patina

Light leather has less dye sitting in it, so sun, hand oils and everyday wear show more clearly. The first change you notice is usually on the top handle, followed by the buckle straps and the edges of the flap.

If you want the colour to change evenly, leave the bag in daylight for a few afternoons during the first month. If you want it to stay paler, keep it out of direct sun and condition it lightly.
